Last week, the Internet went crazy over the image of a Palestinian lawyer punting a teargas canister back at Israeli security forces during a demonstration in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Now that same photo is the inspiration behind a delightfully entertaining Photoshop battle.
Shot by Associated Press photographer Majdi Mohamed Shteih, the image garnered 1.5 million views overnight when it was released on Reddit's photosharing website Imgur. And it's from those same social media trenches that revamped images of the lawyer are appearing now.
Meanwhile, things on the ground in Palestine and Israel show no signs of slowing down—a Saturday alleged stabbing attempt in the West Bank city of Hebron shot the Palestinian death toll to 38 and sparked a new media war online.
