Iranian and German manufacturers finalized in Bam Saturday an agreement to manufacture Volkswagen for the area.
Kerman Governor General Mohammad Ali Karimi termed the agreement "important" for the local population adding that the region needs new employment opportunities as well as regeneration of old jobs that have been lost, IRNA reported.
A Volkswagen company member of the board Wisegerber said the Bam company is the 54th entity that has signed a deal with the German firm. (menareport.com)
