ALBAWABA - A Syrian flight landed in Moscow for the first time on Sunday since flights were suspended between the two countries in December 2024 after the Syrian revolution ousted dictator Bashar Al-Assad.
At 6:44 p.m. local time, the Syrian flight coming from Damascus International Airport landed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport, marking a sign of normalization between the two countries.
The passenger plane went back to Damascus on its return flight the same day, officially kicking off the resumption of flights between the capitals.
