Dubai: Weekly land deals report

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs456.40 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs313 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs143.48 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 45 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Marsa Dubai that was sold for Dhs90 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Second acquired for the sum of Dhs46.38894 million and another in Emirates Hills Second for Dhs21.970586 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with 12 transactions. Al Satan followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Marsa Dubai recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs90 million, followed by the Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs68.36 million, and Muhaisanah Fourth area, Dhs39.2 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 77314.9 sq ft in the Emirates Hills Second area, which went for Dhs46.39 million. A 37677 sq ft plot in the Marsa Dubai Area was acquired for Dhs90 million, while 28719.72 sq ft of Emirates Hills Second was disposed of for Dhs21.97 million.

 

During the period under review 25 mortgages worth Dhs125.4 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs20.25 million for an area at Al Mararr.
