The total value of land transactions in Dubai July 3 peaked at Dhs166.96 millions of which sales exceeded Dhs25 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs141.85 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 10 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of July 3, the most valuable of which was a plot in Um Suqaim Second that was sold for Dhs5.9 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Goze First acquired for the sum of Dhs4.3 million and another in Naif for Dhs3.1 million.
The Al Bada area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with one transaction. Al Goze First also had one deal.
During the period, Um Suqaim Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs5.9 million, followed by the Al Goze First area, Dhs4.3 million, and Naif area, Dhs3.1 million.
The biggest area sold was the 14023.64 sq ft in the Emirates Hills First area, which went for Dhs2.4 million. A 12343 sq ft plot in the Al Goze First Area was acquired for Dhs4.3 million, while 11402 sq ft of Al Qusais Second was disposed of for Dhs1.6 million.
During the period under review 11 mortgages worth Dhs141.85 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs84.5 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs27 million on an area in Nad Al Shiba.
