Dubai: Land deals on April 1

The total value of land transactions in Dubai April 1 peaked at Dhs81.71 millions, of which sales exceeded Dhs20 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs61.72 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 6 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of April 1, the most valuable of which was a plot in Hor Al Anz that was sold for Dhs6.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Mirdif acquired for the sum of Dhs5.3 million and another in Hor Al Anz for Dhs4.35 million.

 

The Hor Al Anz area was the most active in terms of the yesterday's sales, with some 3 transactions. Al Qusais Third followed it with one sale.

 

During  the period, Hor Al Anz recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs12.65 million, followed by the Mirdif area, Dhs5.3 million, and Al Waheda area, Dhs1.15 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 10125 sq ft in the Mirdif area, which went for Dhs5.3 million. A 3000 sq ft plot in the Al Qusais Third Area was acquired for Dhs.9 million, while 2718 sq ft of Hor Al Anz was disposed of for Dhs6.5 million.

 

During the period under review 2 mortgages worth Dhs61.72 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs61 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs.72 million on an area in Al Warqa Third.
