Dubai's popularity among Britons looking to buy a second home has been growing, according to Dubai Properties. Over 100,000 Britons have bought homes in Dubai since the start of the property boom in 2002. Dubai is competing with Spain and France in the second-home market, with both states capturing 35 percent and 24 percent respectively of British homes overseas.
