Burgan Bank Launches its Cashback Summer Campaign in Partnership with Visa
In an ongoing effort to elevate customer experiences and offer rewarding financial solutions, Burgan Bank announced the launch of its Cashback Summer Campaign in partnership with Visa – a global leader in digital payments. Scheduled to run for three months from July 1st to September 30th, the campaign is designed to turn customers’ holiday spending into cashback gifts, rewarding Visa credit cardholders for their loyalty and continued trust in Burgan Bank as a financial partner. This initiative comes as part of the Bank’s committed strategy for enhancing customer satisfaction, advancing its banking offerings through everyday added value, and ensuring that Burgan Bank suite of cards remains a top-of-wallet choice for customers across Kuwait.

Under the new campaign, Burgan Bank Visa credit cardholders are eligible for a 5% cashback on their monthly international and cross-border transactions. The offer applies to all transactions made abroad, whether through physical point-of-sale (POS) terminals or online international merchants. To qualify for the monthly cashback, customers must meet a minimum international spending of KD 500 per month, allowing them to earn up to KD 100 in cashback monthly.
The partnership between Burgan Bank and Visa reinforces a shared commitment to driving seamless, secure digital payment adoption while enhancing customer engagement through high-value propositions – in line with the Bank’s active contribution to achieving Kuwait Vision 2035 goals.
In addition, the campaign aligns with Burgan Bank’s ongoing support for the “Let’s Be Aware” (Diraya) financial literacy and banking awareness campaign – launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA), with the support of Kuwaiti banks – according to which, the Bank strives to educate members of its community about safe banking practices, especially online, as well as alert them to the latest methods for financial fraud and scamming and how to safeguard their personal and financial information against theft.
