Huda Abdulla of First Gulf Bank honored with Distinguished Woman in Banking & Finance Sector award

Huda Abdulla, Head of Branches at First Gulf Bank, today received an award for being the most “Distinguished Woman in the Banking & Finance Sector 2011” from Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies. The award was presented by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, during the 13th National Career Fair for Banking and Financial sectors at Sharjah Expo.
During her 15 year long banking career, Ms Abdulla has served in many diverse positions including customer services, products marketing, asset sales, operations, policy making, strategic planning, branch banking and channels management. Ms. Abdulla has been involved in the development of unique banking products to serve customer needs like the Ladies Card, Emirati Al Awwal Savings Scheme and Abu Dhabi Credit Card.
