Today HP expanded its consumer notebook PC range with new and improved products combining sleek style and practical design.

The products reflect the “MUSE” (materials, usability, sensory appeal and experiences) consumer notebook design philosophy. Stylish redesigns include the HP Mini 210 and HP Pavilion dm4. These updated models fuse a rich mix of materials to create textured finishes with sensory appeal and easy-to-use features.

The redesigned HP Mini 210 in vibrant colours and HP Beats Audio, developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. Hear music the way the artist intended it – just as it sounds in the studio.

New versions of the HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 notebook PCs have been launched in a sleek steel grey colour.

Improved HP CoolSense technology uses advanced hardware and intelligent software for a notebook that feels noticeably cooler. Now included in HP Pavilion dm4, HP ENVY 14 and ENVY 17 notebook PC’s.

HP SimplePass with One-Time Password (OTP) protects personal information and simplifies password management. Now available on the Pavilion dm4, dv6 metal, dv7 metal notebook PC’s.

HP Mini 210 – stylish, for people on-the-go

Now with the addition of Beats Audio, the redesigned HP Mini 210 is the ultimate companion PC, offering high-quality entertainment plus productivity while on-the-go. The new design provides a modern, streamlined aesthetic with a sleek upswept back and is available in various attractive colours.

Weighing under 1.39 kg⁽²⁾ and measuring less than 2.5cm (1”) thin, the stylish HP Mini 210 delivers up to 9.5 hours of computing.

The stylish notebook also features HP QuickWeb 3.0,⁽²⁾ allowing users to connect to the web within seconds of powering the mini. QuickWeb 3.0 includes a customisable widget dashboard and syncs to Windows® bookmarks. Users can chat with friends on Skype, update Facebook posts or tweets, and view their social calendars all in one place.

Innovative technologies for enhanced consumer experiences

The sleek, full-performance HP Pavilion dm4 features improved HP CoolSense technology that includes a simplified user interface of on, off and auto. CoolSense uses advanced hardware and intelligent software for a notebook that feels noticeably cooler. Weighing under 2.1 kg, the dm4 boasts a 35.6cm (14”) diagonal HD LED BrightView screen and comes in Dark Umber metal finish. The award-winning HP ENVY 14 notebook PC also features improved HP CoolSense technology.

HP SimplePass with OTP practically eliminates phishing fraud by providing unique “one-time” passwords that are linked to each individual user’s fingerprint. These one-time passwords, generated every 60 seconds, grant secure access to websites that store financial information such as eBay or PayPal.
