Muscat Festival kicks off this week with shoppers keenly anticipating the fantastic savings as well as family fun to be had at both Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre. 

Retailers at Muscat City Centre are offering promotions of up to 85% on fashion, home wares and other hot sale items, while hosting weekly family entertainment running first two weeks of Muscat Festival, which takes place from 27 January – 24 February.  Meanwhile, Qurum City Centre will host a mall-wide grand sale with discounts up to 75% while greeting its youngest shoppers with clowns, balloon art and face-painting.

“The annual Muscat Festival provides an unparalleled opportunity for shoppers at both Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre to maximize their retail spend through deep discounts while enjoying family-centric entertainment.  We’re delighted to highlight the winter shopping season with a range of promotions as well as laughter and smiles from our youngest shoppers,” said Ibrahim Al Qasmi, General Manager of Muscat City Centre.

Budding artists from ages 7-12 are eligible to see their painted works displayed in the East Wing of Muscat City Centre during the Muscat Festival.  Twelve winners over the four-week Festival will win paint sets and a play session card worth 20 Omani Rial each at Magic Planet as well as having their work professionally judged and hung for one month in the East Wing. 

At Qururm City Centre, clowns will entertain children with balloons and other entertainment while their parents take advantage of significant savings at participating retailers.  Up to 18 February, visitors to the mall can also tour National Geographic’s exhibition ‘From China to Arabia: Ancient Treasure Ships and the Great Oman Voyage’ exhibition.
