“Jordan’s investment environment needs revitalising. It is vital. The fact that we are holding the finance conference tomorrow sends the positive signal that the Jordan is a committed and reliable partner,” said Richard Banks, Director of Emerging Markets for Euromoney Conferences. “Notwithstanding some regional uncertainties, this is the best time for us to be here. Fundamental positive outlook needs action. The important decisions will be taken here and now.”

“Jordan needs to use more diversified capital sources. It needs to move away from bank lending and start using new funding models.” Banks said. “The Euromoney Jordan Conference 2011 will discuss strategic options for the financing of Jordan's development. It will provide experts an environment in which to explore necessary legislative changes and a look at how international capital can be utilised to enhance funding diversification.”
