EQUATE hosts leadership development forum

EQUATE Petrochemical Company hosted a leadership development workshop with the participation of Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, a world authority in developing human resources.
On this occasion, EQUATE Senior Executive for Administration and Corporate Services Abeer Al-Omar said, “With human resources being EQUATE’s most valuable assets, the development of its leaders is a critical issue that is part of our corporate strategy at all time. EQUATE invests a great amount of time and money into the development and growth of all employees and this event is just one of the many of its kind.”
On his part, Goldsmith said, “I really loved the opportunity to participate with leaders at EQUATE and thoroughly enjoyed their great attitudes, lively discussion and strong willingness to learn.”
The two-day workshop, attended by over 50 EQUATE participants, focused on achieving positive, lasting change in behavior: for individuals, their people and their teams.
Goldsmith was recognized as one of the fifteen most influential business thinkers in the world in the bi-annual study sponsored by The (London) Times and Forbes. The American Management Association named Marshall as one of 50 great thinkers and leaders who have influenced the field of management over the past 80 years. He is one of only two educators who have won the Institute of Management Studies Lifetime Achievement Award.
