EQUATE and EPA: Partners in safeguarding Kuwait’s environment

EQUATE Petrochemical Company announced its sponsorship of the Environmental Month organized by Environment Public Authority (EPA) in cooperation with Edara Group. 

On this occasion, EQUATE Senior Executive for Corporate Communications & Client Affairs Adel Al-Munifi said, “EQUATE and EPA enjoy an overall partnership aimed at safeguarding Kuwait’s environment and preserving it through tangible efforts that consider all short and long term environmental demands in accordance with sustainability objectives.” 

Al-Munifi added, “To accomplish such a thing, EQUATE has launched several world-class initiatives that showcase its environmental excellence, such as the Middle East’s first Plant Water Recycle Project; Kuwait’s first CO2 recovery and re-use project; as well as Kuwait’s first sweater cooling towers; and other projects that prove EQUATE as a truly caring pioneer in industrial and environmental fields within and outside Kuwait.” 

During the Environmental Month’s activities that will continue until the end of April, EQUATE’s booth hosted EPA Director-General Dr. Salah Al-Mudh’hi, Executive Secretary for the Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine Environment (ROPME) Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awadhi and a number of senior officials who received a brief about EQUATE’s environmental efforts.”
