Bahraini actress Zainab Al Askari has chosen Lebanese signer Diana Haddad to perform the opening theme song for her upcoming television drama series “La’nat Imra’ah” (A woman’s curse), scheduled to be screened this Ramadan season.
Diana, who will for the first time sing a theme song for a television drama, considers her cooperation with Zainab an important addition to her career and expressed her admiration of Zainab and her work.
Diana has requested that the song, sung in the Khaliji (Gulf) dialect, to be included on her upcoming album, scheduled for release after the holy month of Ramadan.
Fatima described the new drama as the “drama series of the century,” and revealed that the lyrics of the theme song are written by poet Ali Al Sharqawi, marking his third cooperation with Zainab.
The actress has chosen artist Abd Al Razaq al Nashman to compose the song.
