Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra denied recent circulating rumors that she is considering resigning from her acting career. Yusra stressed that not once has she considered quitting her career and there are numerous projects on her table and she is reviewing them to choose the ones that best suit her.
With regards to the rumor of her wearing the Islamic headdress “Hijab”, Yusra said that she is not thinking about wearing it in the current period and the moment she decides to wear it she will announce it personally.
Yusra stated that she is against extreme actions whether in terms of religion or matters in life. She added that if the time comes and she decides to wear the hijab she will not place unreasonable conditions to act in different works as is the case with a number of actresses who wore the hijab.
The actress said she wishes those creating rumors about her would stop doing so and if she reads the holy Quran that is not an indication that she intends on wearing the hijab for being close to God is not by only wearing the hijab.
