The Egyptian actress Yusra denied the rumors surrounding her newest television drama series “Fe Aydi Aminah” (In Safe hands), to be aired this Ramadan season.
Rumors claim that a fight erupted between her and the Egyptian actress Jihan Fadel, who plays her sister on the drama series. Supposedly Jihan repeatedly arrived late for the filming and Yusra became furious, demanding a replacement for Jihan.
Other rumors claim that Yusra is having more problems with the Syrian director Muhammad Azizah.
Jihan said that she has a great relationship with the director and that there is a great understanding between the two. They previously worked together on the drama series “Qadyet Rai Am” (Public Case), aired last Ramadan season. The success of the previous series encouraged Yusra to work with Muhammad Azizah once more.
Yusra will also star in a radio drama series to be aired this Ramadan season. The series is called “Majnon Laila” (Laila stalker). The radio series also stars the famous Egyptian actor Muhammad Hunaidi. The series, a romantic comedy, is based on the legendary love story between ‘Qais’ and ‘Laila Al Ameryah.’
