Egyptian comedy actor Yunes Shalaby suffered a stroke in Al Medinah Al Munawarah yesterday after performing Umra rituals, according to Saudi press reports.
The newspapers said that a medical rescue plane had moved Shalaby, 53, to one of Jeddah’s private hospitals, where he is currently undergoing careful tests and receiving intensive care. A number of specialists are reported to be following up on his case.
Shalaby is married and has five daughters and one son - Albawaba.com
