Youssra is very proud of herself in the Egyptian series "Awan El Ward" (Flowers Bloom) which garnered such national and Arab wide attention. The controversy and hype evoked by this TV series for breaking taboos, has never happened before by any other TV series, critics have said.
“It was a very fulfilling part I did, in which I delivered a certain message to the viewers. I was very proud to do that part. I like being fearless, and I don't like to be restricted in roles,” Youssra told arab-celebs.com.
“I am happy for the total success. This series had its own flavor,” she added.
In "Awan El Ward", people have admired Youssra’s character "Amal".
Back in the late 70s, Youssra was the Egyptian blonde bombshell who captivated everybody in her roles in "Fatah Tabhath Ann al-Hob," (A Girl Looking for Love), "Ebtesama Waheda La Takfi" (One Smile is not Enough), as well as "Shabab Yarkoss Fawk Alnar" (Youth Dancing on Fire).
Youssra continued to charm her fans with her latest two films "Red Rose" and the controversial “the Storm” directed by Khalid Youssef – Albawaba.com
