Lebanese actor Youssef al Khal threatened to quit social media this week after Twitter reacted harshly to crowning Sandy Tabet as Miss Lebanon 2016 on Saturday.

The disappointed heartthrob said in a tweet, "In all honesty, for the first time ever I'm seriously considering quitting social media because of how people are reacting to Miss Lebanon. Shame on you."
