Kuwait Radio Corporation is gearing up for participating in the 8th Cairo Radio and TV Festival which will be opened on July 1, by a new TV film entitled Shahrayar which will be implemented in the next few days especially for the festival’s contest, according to the London based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat.
The new about the TV film will be the starring roles played by the Egyptian star Yahya al Fakhrani and the Kuwaiti actress Suad Abdulla, marking Fakhrani’s debut in Kuwaiti drama with all of its styles.
The general director of production department at Kuwait Radio Corporation, Ahmed al Yaacoub will assume the responsibility of scripting the play the title of which indicates to its content. It is about the story of Shahrazad and prince Sharayar and the Arabian Nights.
And off course, Fakhrani will take on the role as prince Shahrayar while Abdulla will play the role as fictionist Shahrazad -- Albawaba.com
