Renowned Egyptian actor Yahya Al Fakhrani has begun shooting a new series, Jaber Al Akram, which is directed by Mohammed Fadhel and written by Majdi Saber, according to Akhbar Al Nujoom magazine.
Fakhrani performs the role of Jaber, who has supporters in his home village. He runs for the People’s Council, promising to build a fertilizer factory in his village, which is full of the unemployed.
Despite the hot weather, the director insisted that the shooting be carried out with the actors wearing winter clothes. This reportedly delayed work for an hour and a half, as the actors scurried around looking for drinking water.
Filming is taking place in the rural neighborhood of the Information Production City. Other shooting will be carried out at one of the Al Maadi area shelters, and will continue at the IPC’s prison sets - Albawaba.com
