Lebanon First Agency will hold a press conference at the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism in Beirut next Tuesday to announce the launch of new festivals in Tripoli organized by the agency in which Miss Lebanon, Zoya Saqer, runs the festivals’ section in collaboration with Tripoli Touristic Society.
Zoya confirmed to the Arabic daily al Hayat that the agency made an agreement with two prominent international stars to participate in the festival and also with a Russian dancing troupe comprised of 40 dancers. One rai international star, a Tunisian singer and two renowned Lebanese stars will participate in the concerts of the festival, which will be held between August 2-16. Zoya will announce the names of the stars in a press conference soon.
She added, “we have decided to shed light on north Lebanon after we found that it has been sidelined from the touristic point of view. The festivals will be held in summer annually in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism.”
Saqer who won a number of beauty titles starting with Miss Elite (modeling firm) and ending with Miss Lebanon represented her country abroad and appeared short time ago as a model for a group headed by designer Abed Mahfouz. She presented many TV programs including model programs on Future TV. She also worked for the Paris based ANN TV and returned to Beirut to work for NBN.
