Lights, camera, close the slammer! A very naughty trio are doing some jail time in Cairo. Actresses Nelly Karim, Ruby and Durrah are all behind bars for the new television drama "Sijn Al Nisa" (Women Prison).
Filming has begun first in an Abdeen area apartment with scenes starring Durrah, Hannah Yousif, Ala Nour and Mohammad Abdel Azim, followed by a nightclub relocation that will include the remaining cast.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the special set that was created for the prison scenes will feature all the leading actresses Nelly Karim, Ruby and Durrah. This main set was built by the producing company 'Al Adel Group' for 40 days of filming. That's quite a sentence for the stars used to lives of luxury!
The releastic drama is composed of 30 episodes with the storyline written by author Fathia Al Asal, script by Mariam Naoum, direction by Kamila Abu Thikri and production by 'Al Adel Group' and Jamal Al Adel.
