Unlike everyone in show business, Egyptian actress Ruby refuses to promote her acting projects! Erm, too busy to promote oneself Ruby?

Nope! According to Sayidaty.net, Ruby said that marketing her work feels as if she's selling herself and influencing people's opinions of her work before they've even watched it.

That's a new meaning to “selling yourself!”

The actress's tactic is to get people and critics watching and judging for themselves, minus her influence!

In case you're wondering how people are supposed to find out about her new work in the first place, Ruby added that there are specialized companies who do the “dirty work” for actors; their job is to promote her work and hers is to play the acting role as well as she can.

Oh, that's alright then?!

As for how she deals with criticism – and there's usually a lot of it - Ruby assured Sayidaty that she takes on both positive and negative criticism with open arms, as she benefits from and improves herself through the latter.
