Jerash Festival for Culture and Art will kick off on July 21, featuring a variety of national, Arab and international shows that reflect the values of enlightenment and the Great Arab Revolt's message of freedom, unity and Nahda (renaissance), according to the president of the festival's higher committee, Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji.
In a press conference held Saturday, Biltaji said the festival's ten-day activities will be held in the ancient city of Jerash followed by six days of activities in Amman.
The event, Biltaji said, continues to enhance Jordan’s reputation as a model of security and stability in a turbulent region.
Prominent Jordanian and Arab singers and artists - including Lebanese stars Najwa Karam, Wael Kfoury, Wael Jassar and Yara, Iraqi superstar Kazem el Saher, Tunisian star Latifa, Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred and The Voice Arabia winner, Jordanian singer Nidaa Sharara - will participate in the festival's activities, the festival's executive director, Mohammad Abu Summaqa, noted.
The event will also see performances by Jordanian, Arab and international troupes representing Iraq, Tunisia, Egypt, Portugal, France and Argentina among others.
Also, the festival’s agenda includes poetry sessions, where renowned Jordanian and Arab poets will recite some of their writings.
It will also include "Bashayer Jerash", a program aimed to explore young Jordanian talents.

Can we get tickets to see all of them... please? (Bitajarod)
