This month, Egyptian actress Nelly Karim mingled with Hollywood and world cinema's crème de la crème at the Venice International Film Festival.
During her stay in picturesque Venice, Nelly was excited to bump into Italian iconic actress Monica Bellucci.
While Nelly didn't take a picture to prove it - because according to her, Monica seemed exhausted from the press chasing her around for photos - she told her fans that "Monica looked gorgeous."
"I was going to my room in the hotel and I met in elevator the gorgeous Monica Belluci she was with her little daughter , I didn’t ask her for a picture , cause she looked tiered from the press and photos what can I say she looked gorgeous (sic)," Nelly wrote on one of her social media pages, according to Bitajarod.
The 41-year-old actress served on "the jury deciding on the winners of the festival's Orizzonti (The Horizons) section" at the prestigious festival, reported Al Ahram.
She was the first Egyptian actress ever tasked with this duty.
