Lebanese singer Walid Tawfiq has been released from the American University Hospital in Beirut, after being admitted for five days due to a sudden paralysis in his hand.
Doctors revealed that his condition has improved, but he must continue to get as much rest as possible in the comfort of his home.
According to the London based Elaph, a number of stars, like Wael Kfoury, Majida Al Roumy, Haifa Wahbi, Milhim Barakat, Rami Ayash, rushed to the singer’s side once they heard of the news. Journalists and fans also sent get well letters and flowers to Walid’s hospital room and managing office.
Once the singer’s health permits, he will begin work on his upcoming album, scheduled for release during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr. The singer has also been working on a new website which he hopes to launch in mid-September as part of a new advertising campaign.
