Lebanese singer Waleed Tawfiq revealed that he is currently preparing three different song compositions for prominent Syrian singer George Wassouf and Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Elissa. Waleed has expressed his happiness at being giving the chance to work with some of the Arab world’s most prominent singers.
Waleed also revealed that he is preparing a special composition for prominent Lebanese singer Milhim Barakat titled “Ghareeb Ya Zaman” (Strange Days). Waleed noted that the song is a unique one that will add tremendously to his music career.
Waleed said that 60% of his most successful songs are composed by him personally. He said that when he composes a song, he feels more into the song. Waleed noted that composing for other singers who are his competitors in the music industry does not affect his singing career in any way and his honesty and trustworthiness is behind his ongoing success.
On a different note, during a special interview with the internet website MBC.net, Waleed stated that he is a traditional eastern man like any other Arab man and that if he had met his wife Georgina Rizik before she was crowned Miss Lebanon, he would have not allowed her to enter the beauty pageant.
