Wade’ Al Safi sings for Bashar Al Asad

Famous Lebanese singer Wade’ Al Safi is getting ready to record a special song for Syria and Syrian President Bashar Al Asad. 


Al Safi will perform the song, written by Syrian poet Dr. Nabil Ta’mah, at a celebration in Damascus.


According to the London daily Elaph, Syrian singer Mayada Al Hinawi has also released a new song for Beirut about peace and love between Arab people. 


The controversial new play “Sah Al Noum” (Good Morning) about the legendary Lebanese singer Fairouze will open in Damascus after the city was chosen the cultural capital of the Arab world for 2008.


The Rahbani’s, who are lebanon’s most important family of musicians and who are Fairouz’s family, stated that they are very pleased to participate in the celebration and said that art has no boundaries and it doesn’t concern politics.
