Just a few short days ago, Arab starlet Mariam Hussain announced her surprise engagement to actor/model Faisal al Faisal.
The 25-year-old actress, AKA Queen Maryoum, got engaged on Moonlight Beach in Turkey, where the couple were filming their Ramadan 2016 TV series "The Big House."
Maryoum posted intimate videos of her "engagement" to the model on Snapchat, but soon had to delete them after fans were outraged with some of their bold and inappropriate content.
The "bold and inappropriate content" refers to a clip of Mariam kissing her fiance on the lips - something that couples shouldn't do in public in the conservative Middle East.
However, what caught our attention was the newly-engaged couple's rings, which were engraved with their engagement date "15 May 2016."
One question pops to mind though: Why did attention-loving Mariam wait this long to announce the happy news?
Could she have deliberately waited until the first of Ramadan in order to create a buzz around her and remind people that she's in a TV series this holy month?
Only you can be the judge of that!
