Legendary Egyptian actor Omar El Shareef has returned to international films after an absence of three years and will be presenting two new films.
Director Enas Bakr, who is Shareef’s agent, revealed that the actor travelled to France to begin preparations for his two films the first will be completely in the English language and is titled “Uboor Al Sahraa” (Into the Desert) and the second is titled “Nida Al Mawani” (Call of the ports).
Enas said that the first scenes of “Uboor Al Sahraa” will be filmed in March in Amsterdam. Nour will be playing a leading role. Enas refused to reveal any details regarding the role or the story of the film.
Omar will be playing the main leading role in the film “Nida Al Mawani”. The story of the film is taken from a novel by Lebanese-born French author Amin Maalouf.
