On Friday, 21 August, Ghassan Al-Youssef and Dina Abdel Hamid will give a unique performance at the Cairo Opera House, playing one oud together.
The duo is widely thought to be the first to play on one oud.
Both musicians studied at the Arabian Oud House, under the guidance and supervision of Cairo-based Iraqi oud master Nassir Shamma.
Their performance at the Opera House is part of the Cairo Opera House Summer Festival.
