ALBAWABA - Speculations emerged on social media that the MBC Group is preparing to produce an Arabic version of the very famous Turkish series "Ezel".
The first episode of the Turkish series "Ezel" was aired on June 20, 2011, and it talks about the story of Omer who was imprisoned following his friend's betrayal and false accusations of robbery and murder. The hero of the series manages to escape jail, get a face transplant and assume the new identity of "Ezel" to get his revenge.

Rumors have been circulating on social media about whether the successful Turkish series is becoming an Arabic one, such as other Turkish series including Sadakatsiz (Al-Khaen), Turkish drama Stiletto Vendetta (Stiletto), and Kiralık Aşk (Lobbet Hob).
Unconfirmed reports revealed MBC's intention to present an Arabic version of the famous Turkish series "Ezel", claiming that the star of the Arabic version will be the Syrian star Bassel Khaiat following his great success in the series "Al-Thaman" also taken from a Turkish series.
Furthermore, speculations say that the female hero of the version is expected to be Syrian actress Kinda Hanna, who was absent from any work during Ramadan 2024.
