ALBAWABA - During his speech at the Charlie Kirk funeral service, President Trump couldn't help but poke fun at Jimmy Kimmel.

Trump was the last person to talk at the almost six-hour event on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Near the end of his speech, he made fun of Jimmy.

Trump didn't utter Jimmy's name but referenced a "canceled late-night TV show where the anchor had no talent and no ratings."

Instead of mentioning Jimmy by name, Trump made reference to a "canceled late-night TV show where the anchor had no talent and no ratings."

Trump's FCC, of course, put pressure on Disney, ABC, and other media companies to take Jimmy off the show because of the backlash over his comments about the Kirk shooting.

Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow, spoke right before Trump. She said she loved her enemies and had forgiven the person who killed her husband.

Trump said early on in his speech ... "I hate my opponent, and I don’t want the best for them ... Sorry, Erika."

People aren't sure what they can and can't say because Kimmel aimed his jokes at Trump instead of the late founder of Turning Point USA.

A Fox News reporter named Martha MacCallum talked to the president about this on Thursday, September 18, during his two-day trip to the UK. She tried to get more information from him about this.

They talked for a long time about Kirk and the worries people have about censorship in the US. MacCallum asked Trump what he thinks of people who say, "This crackdown is a crackdown on free speech."

His answer was, "I watch your show and others, and I see crazy people saying things." It's like you can see these crazy people, and even the way they answer is crazy. The things they say are even worse, but they look crazy. They're almost crazy. They might be high. Something else might be wrong.

"The things you hear are so unbelievable that you wouldn't think a very regular person, like you or me, would make such statements."

When asked about Kirk's view on free speech, MacCallum said, "Charlie said, 'There is no such thing as hate speech.'"

This is what Trump said in response: "He might not be saying that now."

People on social media said that what the president said was "way worse" than what Kimmel said.

It was said, "That was a subtle savage, though."

"This is much worse than what Jimmy Kimmel said," said a second. "Trump doesn't give a damn about anything."

"That was so insensitive," wrote a third, and "So y'all going to call and get him fired?" asked a fourth.

"Really, people are getting fired all over the country for saying less than this," said a fifth. "WTF? We really live in an idiocracy," said a sixth.

On September 11, after a long search, Tyler Robinson, 22, was caught after a family member gave police information.

He is accused of severe murder, committing a violent crime in front of a child, tampering with witnesses twice, obstructing justice twice, and firing a gun knowingly.

Aggravated murder is a charge that could lead to the death sentence, and officials said they would be asking for that.
