ALBAWABA - Netflix's Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft has finally hit the streaming platform but has received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, with IGN which is always generous with giving titles a 7/10, giving it a shocking 5/10. 

Powerhouse Animation Studios is behind producing the show which is best known for working on excellent titles currently also streaming on Netflix such as Castlevania and the Blood of Zeus. Moreover, it was also behind game trailers including Sonic Origins, Battle Chasers, and Super Monkey Ball Bana Rumble.

Fans of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft can watch the animation series as a whole due to Netflix's ways of releasing shows so its subscribers can binge it in one go.

The first season in question contains eight episodes with each one running for approximately 30 minutes.

Lara Croft is being voiced by the actress Hayley Atwell who's name for appearing in movies like Captain America and Mission Impossible. On the other hand, Johnah is being voiced by actor and writer Earl Baylon who's known for working on titles like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Starfield, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Netflix describes  Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft as an adult animation show and will tell the story of one of Lara Croft's adventures with fellow members of her party Jonah Maiava and Zip.

"From the mountains of China to the catacombs of Paris, Lara Croft finds adventure at every turn as she races against time to solve an ancient mystery".
