The crew for the new drama series “Man Atlaqa Al Rasas Ala Hind Alam” (Who Shot Hind Alam) has just got back from London, where they had spent four days fo film the scenes for the drama starring famous Egyptian actress Nadia Al Jundi.
Producer Khaled Bahjat produced the scenes during a severe weather storm in London. Throughout the filming process heavy rain was pouring and at times it started snowing with very low temperatures. After five exhausting months, the filming of all the scenes is complete.
Nadia Al Jundi told Egyptian newspapers that the terrorism incident that London faced had affected her ever since she landed and got out of the plane. Al Jundi was fully searched and had to take off her shoes so they can be tested.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, Al Jundi adds that they had a hard time getting permissions to film in the sites that were chosen for them by writer Yusri Al Jundi. Security personals made it tough on them, yet they finally agreed to let them film.
Al Jundi did not have a break ever since she got to London, where she had two hours to relax then started her hard and tiring work. Her nights had to be connected with days in order to finish on time. The film maker had rented all the electronic tools and cameras in London and the bad weather was making it hard on them; therefore, they had to finish in the shortest time ever.
Al Jundi stated that filming of some of the scenes had to be postponed many times due to the bad weather, yet she refused to film in any other European country. Since the scenes revolve around the assassination of an atomic scientist in London; therefore, there will be no truth to the story when the viewers see the events going on in a different place. The filming was tough yet they were successful in finishing everything on time.
