ALBAWABA - The artistic community was gripped by grief following the announcement of the death of Egyptian director of photography, Taymour Taymour, last night in the North Coast, Egypt.
The details and the reason behind the death of Taymour Taymour were confirmed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors Syndicate in Egypt.
According to Zaki, Taymour Taymour died in a tragic drowning accident after he was trying to save his son from drowning.
Moreover, director Ibrahim Hamouda wrote on his official Facebook account: "A martyr of fatherhood... drowned while trying to save his son from drowning. A cruel, painful, and sad scene, and a terrifying scenario. May God have mercy on the director of photography, Timur Timur, and inspire his family with patience and solace."
A friend of the late director of photography revealed the final moments of his friend's life, telling Youm7 that Taymour was spending his summer vacation at a tourist village in Ras El Hekma when his son drowned. He added that Taymour tried to save his son and succeeded, but he drowned immediately after rescuing his child in a tragic incident.
