According to the London daily Elaph, singer May Salim said there is no romantic relationship between her and Egyptian singer Tamer Husni. “The relationship between us doesn’t go beyond his role as a counselor for my art and music,” said May, who thinks of him as a brother and nothing more.
May also confirmed that she and her sister Mayes Hamdan are on very good terms, despite rumors that the two are not speaking out of petty jealousy.
Rumors began circulating after the release of their duet was delayed. May said it will be released around Valentine’s Day.
May has released a video clip for her latest song “Sibo” (Leave Him), directed by Muhammad Sha’ban. The lyrics were written by Amir Ta’mah and the song was composed by Rami Jamal and distributed by Toma.
“Sibo” is from her new album “Ihlawat Al Ayam” (The Days Are Getting Better) featuring eight songs.
