After completing his military service, which he had previously attempted to run away from and was imprisoned for forging legal papers, Egyptian singer Tamer Husni has returned to holding performances outside of Egypt. Tamer was finally given the green light to leave Egypt without any restrictions and is now allowed to perform in any country he pleases.
Recently, Tamer held two performances one in Syria and another in Jordan. The singer intends on going on tour around the Arab world in the upcoming months. Tamer will be attending the special screening of his latest film in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the London based Elaph, Tamer is to begin filming the first scenes of a new movie titled “Captain Hima” during January of the New Year to have it ready for screening during the summer season. Tamer and producer Nasr Mahrous had worked together on the story of the film, and Ahmad Abd Al Fatah will be writing the script.
Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din, whom starred with Tamer on the film ‘Omar and Salma’, will costar with Tamer along with Marwa Abd Al Min’im, Ahmad Zaher, Mina Fadali and Edward.
