Rumors claim that Egyptian actress Mai Izz Al Din was replaced by another actor to star in a new film with beloved Egyptian singer Tamer Husni called “Captain Heema.”
According to Mazika.com, rumors claim that Mai and Tamer are involved in a romantic relationship that my lead to marriage. Tamer denied having any kind of romantic relationship with Mai. Tamer says that he feels like a brother to Mai and the two became close after making the film “Omar and Salma”.
Tamer said the director of the film Naser Mahrous, Mai and himself all decided that Mai would not appear in the new film.
The new film “Captain Heema” was written by Tamer and Naser Mahrous. Ahmad Zaker and Mina Fadaly will star in the new film.
The new film revolves around a poor young man, Heema, who is responsible for the well being of his young sister. He falls in love with a rich girl and faces many problems with her family, but fights for his love in every way.
Mahrous said there are three female actresses nominated to replace Mai.
Tamer has made two films thus far, “Hikayat Hob” (Love Story) and (Omar and Salma).
