Haters of Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny have launched a computer virus on Facebook that is basically a news alert saying "A tragic accident occurred to Tamer Hosny in the morning hours on the Alexandria road leaving the singer seriously injured." Once anyone clicks on the link, a virus strikes the user's computer and destroys it completely.
According to Laha Magazine, recently a similar virus was launched taking advantage of 'Arab Idol' winner, Palestinian Mohammad Assaf’s newfound popularity after he won the title for the second season of the show.
The virus of Mohammad was accompanied by the announcement saying "Mohammad Assaf murdered".
Beware, Peeps, many sick individuals are using the names of popular celebrities to launch deadly computer viruses, so don’t click on any news that may seem suspicious.
And, never fear, Tamer is alive and well with exciting new stuff just around the corner!
