Young Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din is currently living the happiest days of her life as she is playing the leading role in several different cinema projects. This coming Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha, Mai’s most recent film “Bidoon Thiker Ashjan” will be screened, in which she starred in alongside Majed Al Kidwani and Raja Al Jadawi.
According to the London based Elaph, Mai has postponed several film projects in order to make time for a new film she will star in alongside Egyptian singer Tamer Husni. The film will mark the second time Mai and Tamer star together, and it will be directed by Nasr Mahrous. The film’s title has not yet been decided on.
Actresses Marwa Abd Al Min’im, Mina Fadali and Edward will costar alongside Mai and Tamer and filming is scheduled to begin after Eid Al Adha holiday. Mai had requested of Nasr and Tamer to postpone filming until her film “Bidoon Thiker Ashjan”.
The first film Mai and Tamer worked on was “Amr and Salma”, which was directed by Akram Fareed. The film had witnessed tremendous success.
