Security officials at Cairo International Airport have detained famous Syrian actor Abed Fahed upon his arrival to Egypt.
According to Laha Magazine, a report made by head of the passport agency said that Abed was detained for a very short period in order to obtain permission to enter Egypt from the national security. After approving his visa, which had some complications, Abed was released and allowed to enter Egypt at last.
Abed had arrived in country to film an episode for the program "Masr Al Jadeedah" (New Egypt) with TV host Mu'taz Al Damardash.
