Syrian beautiful actress Sulaf Fawakhirji is flourishing after the success she made in Egypt in her first Egyptian film “Halim”, which led Egyptian fans to fall in love with her. She played the soft and romantic role of the late singer and legend Abed Al Halim’s lover. She was placed on the thrown of young men’s hearts who were happy when she was happy meeting up with her love Halim and they cried with her when she cried for the death of her love.
According to the London daily Elaph, After the Eid holiday Sulaf will start filming a number of projects in Cairo, where she will play the leading role in the movie “Baby Doll Night” that is written by the late Abed Al Hai Adeeb. The son of the late writer Adel Adeeb will produce the film. A number of famous actors are co-starting in the film like: Mahmoud Abed AL Aziz, Noor Al Sharif, Mahmoud Haidar, Jamal Suleiman, and Nicole Saba and Rubi.
On the other hand and away from the cinema, Sulaf has started filming her scenes in the new television drama series “Hila Yatajih Gharban” (The Crescent Heading West). The script is written by Samir Al Jamal and produced by Adel Al A’sar. Sulaf plays the role of “Nijmah” (Star) the Palestinian girl that is a journalist and goes undercover and begins work with the Israeli Mossad in the hope of uncovering some of their schemes. Throughout the events of the series, she meets with Professor Hilal Abed Al Qadoos Hijazi and falls in love with him. Her life turns upside down and her secret is revealed.
Samir Jamal the writer of the drama series made sure that the story of “Hilal Yatajih Gharban” is dedicated to the late Dr. Jamal Hamdan the writer of the novel “Shakhsiyah Masir-Abqariyet Al Zaman wa Al Makan” (Egypt’s Personality-the Intelligent personality of time and place). The writer of the series wanted to point out that there were unknown Mossad hands behind the assassination of the great Egyptian scientist and not was stated that his apartment was burned.
Jamal will add scenes of major events that took place in Bosnia, Shishans, the Palestinian Intifada and the events of September 11th. He wanted to clear out that there is a connection between all these events where they all still have an affect on human beings. He also wanted to show how terrorism has affected people on earth.
