The renowned Egyptian artist Suad Husni agreed to cast a weekly message in her voice from London on new events in arts and culture, according to al-Riad newspaper.
Responding to a telephone call from the Egyptian radio announcer Enas Jowhar, Suad will broadcast the message through the Middle East radio station.
This event represents the first reaction to the campaign launched by the Egyptian media regarding Suad’s health conditions, treatment and residence costs in London. Many writers have demanded the Egyptian government to continue spending on the treatment of the artist until the end as part of respect and appreciation for her performances which delighted the fans of the artist and the Egyptian cinema.
