Heartbroken co-stars mourned the death of beloved Harry Potter actor Robbie Coltrane.
Robbie Coltrane who famously portrayed the role of Rubeus Hagrid has sadly passed away on Friday at the age of 72.
Coltrane passed on his way to the hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland.
And co-stars, friends, family and loved ones have took to social media to mourn the loss of the late comedian and actor.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe shared multiple posts in honor of Robbie, in one of the posts he shared a picture of him as a child while he was hugged by Coltrane, Daniel wrote: 'Robbie was one of the funniest people I’ve met and used to keep us laughing constantly as kids on the set''
Daniel continued: '' I’ve especially fond memories of him keeping our spirits up on ‘Prisoner of Azkaban,’ when we were all hiding from the torrential rain for hours in Hagrid’s hut and he was telling stories and cracking jokes to keep morale up.''
He added: ''I feel incredibly lucky that I got to meet and work with him and very sad that he’s passed. He was an incredible actor and a lovely man.” - Daniel.''
Rupert Grint, who played the role of 'Ron Weasley' shared a picture on his Instagram that read: ''Heartbroken to hear that Robbie is gone. I’ll never forget the smell of cigars and beard glue- a wonderful combination. No one else on this planet could of played Hagrid, only Robbie."
Rupert added that he believed Robbie was a warm, compassionate and hilarious man.
"A giant hearted man who was still looking out for us even decades later. Sending love to his family. See you on the other side Bobser." Grint said.
Emma Watson, who starred as Hermione Granger shared a tribute on her personal Instagram account, she penned: ''Robbie was the most fun uncle I’ve ever had. His talent was so immense it made sense he played a giant – he could fill ANY space with his brilliance,”

She added. “Robbie, if I ever get to be so kind as you were to me on a film set I promise I’ll do it in your name and memory'
Tom Felton who played the character 'Draco Malfoy' posted an Instagram post that read: '' One of my fondest memories of filming Harry Potter was a night shoot on the first film in the forbidden forest. I was 12. Robbie cared & looked after everyone around of him. Effortlessly. And made them laugh. Effortlessly. He was a big friendly giant on screen but even more so In real life.”
The Scottish star, whose real name is Anthony Robert McMillan, was best known for playing the beloved Hogwarts gamekeeper Hagrid and starring as criminal psychologist Dr Eddie 'Fitz' Fitzgerald in the ITV drama.
