The first episode of the Arab world's version of "So You Think You Can Dance" has finally aired this week.
The exciting dance competition travelled all over the Middle East in search of its star dancer. Contestants from Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Syria and Saudi Arabia joined the race to become the winners of the "So You Think You Can Dance Arabia" title.
Each contestant showed off a unique dance routine, within the genres Hip Hop, Jazz, Popping, Ballroom, Modern and Oriental, in front of a judging panel headed by world-renowned ballroom dancer Pierre Dulaine, Lebanese Hip Hop expert Charles Makriss and Egyptian actress Rojina.
Egyptian actress and former professional ballet dancer Nelly Karim will have a special seat as a guest judge too!
In the episodes to come, contestants will be eliminated by public vote. The winner will take home the winning title and dance their way to the bank with $100,000, reports Elaph news.
The competition airs every Sunday on Fox, MTV and Al Nahar at 8:30pm GMT.
