ALBAWABA - After Lebanese influencer, Dr. Food (George Dib) got arrested for charges of drug possession and trafficking, his wife Shrouq Sunshine took to her official social media and demanded the release of her husband.
During a live TikTok stream, Shrouq Sunshine claimed to have evidence from her lawyer that Dr. Food was innocent of drug trafficking accusations. Moreover, she demanded that the case should be changed into a public opinion instead.
Shrouq who is of Palestinian descent also claimed that the judge had the evidence of Dib's innocence for a month and a half. Additionally, she stressed on how Dr. Food is serving time for an act he hasn't done.

She claimed that he got arrested because of the fame he garnered on social media:
"Everyone among you who grows up, you assassinate and kill them. Why the injustice? Where is the justice?"
Shrouq Sunshine claimed that she would resort to all human rights organizations for help and to prove that her husband was innocent.
Dr. Food accused of smuggling drugs through biscuits

According to VDL News, judicial reports claimed that Dib allegedly smuggled drugs through the packaging of his branded biscuits which were then sent to Turkey.
Reports also indicated that the individual responsible for the drug smuggling incident had the initials "G.H.D" which is close to Dr. Food's full name, Georges Hanna Dib.
Moreover, the site did not confirm if it was George who smuggled the drugs but social media users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and claimed that he was the culprit since he's been under fire for quite a while now after the cheating scandal and abuse accusations.
