Netflix took to its official X (formerly Twitter) account to reveal the anime by saying: "Aiming to be the world's best golf player, join Gawain Nanaumi's adventures as he learns more about the sport and competes with rivals at Camelot Academy🏌️."

Additionally, the anime will first premiere with season 1 in June 2024 and season 2 will quickly follow it in August which is a relatively fast sequel, especially because anime is hand-drawn which takes a lot of time and dedication.

Netflix says "In Rising Impact, Gawain Nanaumi is a third-grader with an incredible love for baseball and making the ball really fly. In a chance encounter with a female professional golfer, Kiria Nishino, he learns that golf will allow him to hit a ball further than any other sport."
